Supported Devices

BioStar Air supports flexible device management for both distributed and centralized access control architectures. Devices can be registered, configured, monitored, updated, and operated from the cloud, allowing each site to use the best setup for its doors, wiring, and security requirements.

Sites can use edge devices that connect directly to the cloud, or control panels that manage downstream readers through RS-485 or Wiegand. Both architectures can be used within the same site, supporting new installations, biometric deployments, retrofits, and centralized panel-based configurations.
